HOW DOES IT WORK?

The ELOMAX controls use a number of sensors to calculate the specific energy needs for your home. The total readings from the sensors are crucial as to what the boiler expects will happen within a specific time period. In this way, you could say that ELOMAX uses ”temperature trends” to control the house's heating in as economical way as possible. This also means that connected units are run in an efficient and careful manner. ELOMAX has anti-bacterial protection against legionella in accordance with Boverket standards.

Heat pump
Heat pumps that are connected to the ELOMAX boiler's automatic heating system are controlled by the external temperatures and temperatures in the heating system respectively. ELOMAX lets the heat pump run as much as possible.
Sometimes you will notice how the ELOMAX ”trend control” operates, e.g. when the boiler temperature has dropped and the heat pump should start up. Instead the heat pump will remain idle for a further hour whilst ELOMAX calculates that the house's heating and hot water needs can still be reasonably met. The result is that the heat pump works for longer operating periods, which is both beneficial for the heat pump – and economical for you.

Solar panels
Solar panels are used during the summer months to provide hot water and during the autumn and spring to help heat the house (solar panels can also produce heat on sunny winter days). Solar panels are always given priority. The heat pump starts to provide support when the power from the solar panels is not sufficient. Finally ELOMAX will start up its integrated electric boiler to meet the energy needs.

Lots of hot water and high levels of comfort.
Elomax has a robust copper-lined hot water heater and is not susceptible to lime deposits. This is particularly important when you are using solar panels, which result in high temperatures in summer. Elomax is delivered as a complete system, see reverse. The installation costs are lower and the appearance is neat and tidy, as the expansion tank and other components are hidden. All pipe connections are concealed. The pipe recesses on the rear allow the boiler to be fitted close to the wall.
Elomax has a clear display and is easy to maintain. Once it has been installed it looks after itself and all connected heat sources. It's completely problem free!
