Aqualux tanks are the smallest accumulator tanks on the market at just 165 cm high (180 cm with shunt) and 76 cm wide. A ceiling height of just 180 cm is sufficient to accommodate the tank. Värmebaronen's accumulator tanks fulfill Boverket's, the National Board for Housing, Building and Planning, requirement for insulation thickness. The heat stays where you need it!
An Acc Pack consists of a wood-fired boiler, one or more accumulator tanks, accumulator control and all the necessary equipment, including shunt, immersion heater, circulation pump, soot tools and more. Calculate the area of your home and any other space that you want to heat to get a rough idea of which accumulator package you need. The level of insulation in your home and your chimney type will make a difference, so always consult your installer.

The Aqualux CU accumulator tank has a copper-lined, 120 litre hot water heater. The tank features a four-way shunt and thermometers for top and bottom temperatures. You can fit immersion heaters to the Aqualux CU if you want to supplement the system with electric heating. A 6 kW electric cartidge is included. Two sizes are available: 500 and 750 litres. Connecting the solar panels is simple.
The Aqualux UB accumulator tank does not come with a heater, immersion heater contact or shunt but is otherwise identical to the Aqualux CU.
